Introduction.
Embarking on a journey is like opening a book – full of anticipation for the adventures ahead. Yet, delays weave unexpected plot twists into the narrative, transforming impatience into a lesson in embracing the unpredictable rhythm of travel. In those unexpected pauses, stories unfold, connections deepen, and the true essence of the journey reveals itself.
- Where you planned to travel to.
Here I am going to talk about a journey which was delayed. I was traveling to Mumbai with my friend to attend a very important meeting regarding business, everything was well planned and tickets were confirmed.
- Why were you looking forward to it.
My friend is really very supportive to me in my business so we were traveling together. We were supposed to reach the station on time. As we both worked a lot on this project and we did not want anything to go wrong so everything was planned in a minute way. This deal was going to have a significant impact on our company and if we crack this client we would enter the international market.
- Why it had to be delayed.
Now the real thing we face is quite expected in my country and one needs to be extra careful with dealing with these situations. In the middle of it we found traffic and learned that there is some agitation going on against the government. Our Uber was stuck in between congestion and the road was bottleneck so it took nearly two hours more than expected time.
- And explain how you felt about the experience.
This was really bad and we missed our train, but we didn't give up. I immediately learned there was a next train so I booked tickets again. Finally, we made up for the delay of two hours. After explaining the situation to clients they understood and everything was fine I learned an important lesson to manage time that day.
