Here I am going to talk about a positive change in driving skills.
- What the change was.
I always believed that speed thrills and I always ride my bike or car at full speed. I love speed and racing is my favourite activity but one day morning I was watching television while having my breakfast and I saw one boy kill a small girl and a lady in a hit and run. I was in shock looking at their bodies, a woman and a small girl dead in the road. From that day I realised Speed thrills, but kills. I decided to never drive irresponsibly and be extra careful for kids and elder people.
- When it happened.
This happened two years ago and now I have totally changed. Now I obey all traffic rules and never go beyond speed limits. I have realised this road belongs to everyone and our thrill can kill someone innocent. I also request my friends to stay within the speed limits and not drive so fast.
- How it happened.
As I saw in the news , a small girl was crossing the road to go to school on the other side of the road where the bus was waiting. And a boy came in full speed and crashed into both of them. Both mother and daughter died on the spot and the police caught the young and put him in custody. This was in all news media and had a huge impact on me.
- And explain why it was a positive change
It was a positive change from that day. I realised that if something like this happened to me I would not forgive myself and live my whole life in regression. So I changed myself and became a response driver. Now I feel that incident was a eye opener for me and it brought a positive change in me.
