Here I am going to talk about my favorite toy from my childhood.
- What kind of toy it is.
I was so much attached to my toy car it was made up of steel and had paddles to drive it. I used to play with it all the time.
- When you received it.
I received this car on my eighth birthday. My parents bought this toy with so much love and they gave it to me as a surprise gift.
- How you played it.
I was always fascinated towards cars and I wanted to drive them as a kid. I kept dreaming about driving a car. When I received this toy car my dream was particularly complete as I could drive it in my compound. My friends and I used to play with it all the time. I used to clean it every day.
- And how you felt about it.
I was so much attached and in love with the toy car. I remember there was no day I have not played without it. Whenever I see my photograph with that toy car I get lost in childhood memories.

What is the difference between girls’ and boys’ toys?
Actually there is no difference in toys when it comes to children. They love to play with everything they have in their surroundings, But girls like more barbie dolls, kitchen sets, on the Other hand, boys like cars and guns. Nowadays boys and girls love to play with electronic toys which is totally a new trend.
Do you think toys really help in children’s development?
Yes, a little bit of toys help in basic understanding of basic elements of life. Toys help in education children identify many things with playing toys. Otherwise toys are meant to be used for entertainment only.

Definitely Modern technology has a great influence on toys, In fact today's modern toys are made using a lot of technology, Some hi tech toys are made using advance sensors and lights
Have we lost our hand skills such as sewing?
Yes, with the advent of modern equipment today we use less handicraft things so we have forgotten the art of handicraft. Today everything is available which is made on a machine.
What toys are popular with kids in India today?
All the toys are popular, in fact toys made with batteries, and which make sound and play music are more popular. Today's children love to play with technology. They do not connect with the toys used in the past.
In general, do children today have many toys?
Definitely children have a lot of toys today. Actually toys are the treasure of kids and they love to receive toys as gifts on different occasions from their parents,friends, and relatives. They collect these toys and feel superior to their friends.
Do you think playing with electronic toys has a good influence on kids?
I don't think playing with toys can have a good or bad influence on children, But if children play whole day with electronic devices, consoles,and stay in front of the screen then they can impair their eyes and hand muscles and make them physically and mentaly weak.
Do you think there are some toys that are only suitable for girls and some that are only suitable for boys?
Yes boys prefer to play with cars and guns, While girls love to play with kitchen sets and soft toys. Both the genders have a different connection with toys. But both of them love to play video games.
Which do you think is better, for children to play with toys alone or with other kids?
It is always better to play with other kids. This improves their leadership skills,communication,and cooperation skills. They improve interpersonal skills by playing with others. Alone they quickly feel bored.
Do you think parents should encourage their children to share their toys with other kids?
Yes parents should encourage their children to share their toys. With sharing they can make good friends which make them good citizens for the future.
How are toys today different to toys of the past?
In the past toys were made of tin and wood, while today toys are made up of plastic and rubber. Today's toys don't even have the long life which the toys of the past had.
How do you think toys will change in the future?
Yes, there will be more toys made up of electronic devices and they will be called smart toys.
If you were going to give a present to a child, what would you give him?
I Would like to give a puzzle to any kid so they can play and improve their cognitive skills.
What kinds of gifts do parents give to their young children?
Parents give whatever their kids like, but they buy gifts which are more useful in academics, and sports. They wish for the overall improvement of their kids.
Is it good to give children too many presents such as too many toys?
No, things beyond the limit are not good for children. It can spoil them and make them aggressive and arrogant. So parents should only give things which are useful to them.
Some parents don’t spend much time with their child but instead give the child gifts as a way to show their love. Do you think this is good enough?
No it is not good to show material love, it's fake love. Parents can give their valuable time to children to show love. This is what children want from them. Too much gifts can have bad effects on children.
