Introduction.

Animals are an important part of the food chain. All domestic,wild and pet animals play different roles in maintaining diversity of animal life. Animals which hunt and survive live in the wild, domestic animals help humans in agriculture and transportation, pet animals safeguard humans property and live like a family member in human society.

Main answer.

Here I am going to talk about a situation when I was close to a lion.

- What it looked like- Where you saw it

I am from Gujarat and my state is well known for lions they are seen in the jungle of girnar. Before two years ago I visited a sanctuary in my state and I got the opportunity to go near a lion. And it was incredible lions had all the features to become King and really live like a king. His eyes were shining and hair was so long and golden. This made the lion look so dangerous. When I saw he was crossing our path and the way the lion walks is so royal. All the jeeps stopped in the way and let the lion cross the way.

- What it likes to eat or do

Lions are carnivorous animals and they hunt and eat animals. They are from the cat family also called as wild cats. They live in dense forests and hunt animals for food. Their hunting style is unique in all animals.

- Why do you like it?

I like it because he is the king in the animal kingdom and no animal can match the royalty of a lion. The way lions live is the thing I like. Their colour and muscular body is also attractive.

Besides the animal you just spoke about, what other wild animals are there in your country (or, around where you live)?

There is one animal that I like beside the lion and it is the tiger. Tiger also belongs to the cat family and it is known for its speed , it runs very fast and has unique hunting skills. Tigers are more dangerous than lions.

In general, how do people in your country feel about wild animals?

In my country people feel good about wild animals. There are many groups active who are spreading awareness to save wild animals and stop deforestation. And conserve wildlife.

In general, what is the attitude of people in your country towards wild animals?

General attitude is that they are protective of wildlife. People in my country respect wildlife and they are spreading awareness about food chain and habitat loss due to logging.

Do you like (all) wild animals? (Why?/Why not?)

I really like all the animals who live in the wild(forest) . They are not dependent on any one and they live so freely and they are important in maintaining the food chain.

What about lions and tigers, do you like them? After all, they sometimes eat people.

Absolutely yes I have talked a lot about them. I am so impressed with the features of lions and tigers and their muscular bodies. I like lions for their royalty and tigers for their speed.They are great hunters so we should maintain distance from them. They can hunt any time.
