Introduction.

Singing songs and poems in school is such an interesting activity. Students love to take part in extracurricular activities and improve their skills. Having a good voice is a god gift. With this talent one can entertain many and win many competitions. I always took part in such activities in my school days. My parents motivated me to participate and always told me winning and losing is part of the game  but participation is compulsory.

Main Answer.

Here I am going to talk about my school's annual day when I sang a song.

- Where were you?

This happened in my primary school days. I always took part in all extra curricular activities and this time my teacher also wrote my name in a singing solo song competition. And later on she informed me. Initially I was not ready but I prepared later on.

- What did you sing 

I had no idea about good songs and music so I went to my music teacher and told him about my confusion. He suggested that I should sing a song from the border movie. And it was a popular song the lyrics were easy to remember.

- How did you feel

I prepared well before the competition and remembered the song properly. So I can sing well. Before the competition I was a bit nervous but the cheering from the crowd gave me motivation and I started singing. I gave my best and performed my level best. At last everybody was clapping and I felt happy that I sang well.

Do teenagers and adults enjoy the same kind of songs?

No, absolutely not teenagers love fast music and western songs with high pitch. They pay less attention to lyrics. While the adults love classical music and they enjoy the lyrics and rhythm both. So their choices are totally different.

What are the factors that make people like a song?

In my opinion.There are some factors like lyrics,singer,mood of the song, and music. A good blend of this makes a hit song 

On which occasions do people in your country sing together?

There are several occasions when people sing songs together in my country like festivals, public celebrities, national day, and personal events like weddings and rituals. This time people sing songs together.

Which kinds of songs are suitable for children? Why?

Children like soft songs and the lyrics they can understand. They do not like loud and fast music they don't understand. Sometimes small children start crying while listening to this kind of song.

Do you often (like to) sing?

No, I don't have that voice to entertain people on a large scale. I only sing in personal gatherings and school and College functions. To sing in public requires an excellent sense of music and good voice also. I don't think I have that one.
