Introduction.

Tall buildings are a requirement of modern infrastructure. There is scarcity of land in urban areas. Tall buildings can accommodate many departments and sections in one building. For example, hospitals, libraries, Apartments, MNCs and many more. All these buildings are built vertically. To satisfy the maximum needs of people.

Main Answer.

Today I am going to talk about a hospital building in my HomeTown.  

- Where it is

This building is located in the hinterland of  my hometown Visnagar in Mehsana district, North Gujarat. It's a 7 story building and it is a multi speciality hospital where people come for treatment from neighbouring villages and towns. It's a charitable trust so it's quite affordable to all sections of the society and they provide all the advanced medical facilities.

- What it is used for

It is a 100 Bed hospital and treatment of all diseases is available at a nominal cost. Apart from treatment students also study in this building who are studying MBBS. It's a multi-purpose building used for education and medical purposes.

- What it looks like

It's a tall structure with glass plates on the exterior and yellow colour is the theme of this building. This building has excellent exterior and interior done by professionals. It's newly constructed so all modern amenities are present.

- And explain why you like or dislike it.

I am proud of this infrastructure in my home town. It is not just hospy but an educational campus for medical and nursing students. People of my hometown don't have to travel for education and medical purposes. Everyone in my hometown is proud of this hospital.

The tall buildings are easy to accommodate many departments and sections in one building and all modern facilities can be made available at one place. While on the darker side there is fear of earthquakes and an accident can happen.

Absolutely yes, as the price of land is increasing and availability of urban space is limited there is only one option to build vertical buildings. To overcome space issues.

The countryside has abundant land and more people are moving to urban areas so the countryside remains quite a silent area. Modern building is the requirement of the city , not the rural area.

4. Why do some people like to live in tall buildings nowadays?

To separate themselves from the noise of vehicles and for personal space. Buying a bungalow in an urban area is costly and a luxury apartment on the top floor with all facilities and amenities is a viable idea today.
