Introduction.
Making important decisions is essential and vital. One needs to take hard decisions in order to solve problems. We can take legal advice from attorneys and lawyers in legal matters. Friends and relatives can also advise us in difficult situations.
Main Answer.
Here I am going to talk about a very difficult decision I took recently.
- What the decision was.
Recently I visited a public office for some legal paperwork for my new office. And I was asked to pay a bribe to get work done. This is totally against my ethics. I decided to consult my legal advisor who is a popular lawyer in my town. to take strict action and register a complaint against the officer.
- When you made the decision.
I made the decision immediately when I was asked to pay a bribe. I contacted my attorney and took legal guidance from him. He suggested that I collect all documents and proof to file a legal suit against the officer.
- How long did it take you to make the decision?
It took a week to collect all the proof and CCTV footage and some call recording. Regarding the bribe with the advice of friends and parents I made it clear to fight this legal case and I hired my legal advisor to fight this case.
- And explain why it was a difficult decision to make.
It was really a difficult decision because the case was against an officer and he had contacts in different offices. So I had to be clear in papers and my legal documents. I knew this case was strong and I was going to win. In the end my advocate presented my case strongly in front of the judge and the officer was suspended. So this was the most difficult decision I made.
