Introduction.

Today we are surrounded by technology and life has become so easy and convenient with equipment and gadgets. Our House is hard to imagine without some basic equipment like TV,Washing machine, toaster,oven,heater, and many more. This equipment makes our work easy and even old people can live a good life with this equipment they require very little physical activity.

- How did you get it (or, who, bought it)?

Here I am going to talk about a washing machine at my home.

My father bought it two months ago. There was a heavy discount on Diwali. My mother faces so much trouble with our old machine. Sometimes it stopped while working and it consumed more energy. So my mother requested my dad to buy a new one. This new machine is fully automatic and has all advanced features with very low energy consumption. 

- What do you use it for? - How often do you use it?

My mom  washes our clothes on a regular basis. Sometimes she also prefers to wash  covers, bed sheets and curtains of windows and many other fabrics like blankets and many more. The new machine works smoothly in all conditions and it's efficient in cleaning. It is used more than three times a week. 

- And explain why you think this thing is useful?

I think it is very useful as it is automatic and very less physical activity is needed to operate it. It saves energy and water. And the clothes are dried when they are washed. This feature is so attractive in this new washing machine. So I think it's important equipment in my home.

How do you think modern technology has changed the way we work (compared to the past)

Yes, modern technology has changed everything so drastically it has made things easy and smooth. today very less physical energy is required to do things while in past with traditional technology things took time and lot of energy

Do you think that operating equipment at work can ever have some bad effect on the body?

 Yes without any formal training if we start operating any equipment then it can have bad effects and sometimes it can cause an accident. So formal training is required for operating and equipment. If it's basic equipment then also we should read the manual before starting it.

Do you think it's important for employees (in-industry) to be trained to use the equipment at work?

Yes absolutely, formal training is required before using any equipment. To get the best output and favourable results one should be trained. Another benefit of training is that accidents can be avoided.

Do you agree that older people have difficulties in using (advanced) modern equipment?

 Yes sometimes they face difficulties in language so they can not operate and dealing with technology is also challenging for them so they take help from young people around them.

How can we help elderly people to use these modern devices?

We can help them by making them aware of technology and teach them the user interface. We can also teach them languages so they can deal smoothly.

Are there any disadvantages of using modern equipment too much in the home?

Yes there are some disadvantages like one becomes lazy when they use too much morden equipment. Once you start doing work with modern technology you can not go back to traditional methods.
